Syrian rebels execute Assad’s Tiger Forces member who fed prisoners to lion

A member of Assad’s notorious Tiger Forces, infamous for feeding prisoners to his pet lion, has reportedly been publicly executed by Syrian rebels.
Talal Dakkak, known for his brutal tactics, was allegedly killed by local militia in the western city of Hama. His death, however, has not been officially confirmed. The report emerged hours after videos surfaced on social media, purportedly showing preparations for his execution.
It was suggested that Dakkak would be executed in front of a crowd – a fate typically reserved for high-ranking members of the Syrian Army by local rebels. Dakkak, who was feared due to his ownership of a ferocious lion stolen from a zoo in 2005, used the animal as a lethal weapon.
He reportedly boasted about feeding the bodies of prisoners and abductees to his pet. Known as “Abu Sakhr”, Dakkak led a division of nearly 1,500 men within the Air Force Intelligence, detaining and torturing those who opposed him and the regime.
