Over Hundred Newly Appointed Area Court Members In Adamawa Took Oath

The Chief Judge, Adamawa State Justice Nathan Musa has charged 113 newly appointed Area court members to discharge their duties with fear of God.

He gave the charge while swearing-in the appointees at the Chief Judge’s Court on Wednesday.

While administering the oath of office, on the court members, Justice Musa explained that their appointments were approved by the Adamawa State Judicial Service Commission at its 176th meeting held on 15th December, 2021.

“By virtue of the oath you have taken, you automatically assume new status and a responsibility in life, the bench is neither for the greedy nor for those with questionable character who can fall prey to desperate litigants.

“You should contribute actively on matters and views on legal issues and also partake and must sign copies of the judgements to ensure effective justice delivery in the state,” he said.

Responding on behalf of the sworn-in, Kabiru Musa thanked Justice Musa for finding them worthy of the appointments and assured him of their unflinching support and fairness in discharging their duties.
