NDA Attacks: Air Force Officer Arrested Over Deadly Attack

A Nigerian Air Force officer, Sergeant Torsabo Solomon, has been arrested in connection with the recent attack on the Nigeria Defence Academy, Kaduna, that resulted in the killing of two officers and the abduction of one.

Solomon, who is currently attached to the Air Force Comprehensive School, Yola, was arrested on Monday in Yola, the Adamawa State capital.

Our correspondent gathered that Solomon was arrested on the order of the base commander as requested by the NDA commander.

An insider, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said, “On November 8, around 6am, NAF07/ 23922, Sgt Torsabo Solomon of 153 BSG (Airforce Comprehensive School, Yola) was arrested on the order of the Base Commander as requested by the NDA commander for an offence connected with arms and ammunition with the recent bandit attack on the NDA Kaduna.

“At about 8:15am, ATR with reg no NAF 930 to arrive flight line to convey him from Yola to NDA Kaduna for further interrogation. Below is the suspect onboard the ATR ac to Kaduna.”
