Meghan Markle reacts to Her “Precedent-Setting” Legal Victory in Her Privacy Lawsuit

More than two years ago, Meghan Markle took a major step in protecting her privacy when she filed a lawsuit against the Mail on Sunday after the paper published the contents of private correspondence between Meghan and her estranged father, Thomas Markle. This week, the Duchess of Sussex scored a legal victory when the Court of Appeal ruled in her favor Thursday.

Geoffrey Vos, the senior judge on the panel, described the contents of the letter that the paper published as “personal, private and not matters of legitimate public interest,” according to NBC.
