Anambra Police Command Declares 21 People Wanted

The Anambra State Police Command has declared twenty-one persons wanted in connection to the alleged murder of Chief Ajieh Nwanasor and Ikenna Ugochukwu. Those on the list are also wanted for the abduction of Igwe Oliver Chike Nnaji, the traditional ruler of Ogwu-Aniocha in Ogbaru local government area of Anambra State.

In a statement signed by the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer –PPRO, the PPRO DSP Tochukwu Ikenga noted that the twenty-one persons have been declared wanted to aid the ongoing investigation of alleged murder and abduction of persons mentioned above.

While urging the general public to assist with relevant information that will lead to the arrest of those on the wanted list, the State Police Command guarantees the safety and confidentiality of informants. Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police Anambra State, CP Echeng assures the people of Ogwu-Aniocha and entire Anambra State residents that ‘the Command shall leave no stone unturned in the ongoing investigation’.
