The Adamawa State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointments of Justice Nathan Musa as substantive Chief Judge and Khadi Usman Aliyu Girei as substantive Grand Khadi of Adamawa State.

The house has also confirmed the appointment of Justice Peter Wajilda as substantive President of the Customary Court of appeal Adamawa State.

The house confirmations followed a request letter forwarded by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as recommended by National Judicial Council for the House of Assembly’s confirmation and read on the floor of the house by the speaker Aminu Iya Abbas.

After various contributions, observations and consideration of the importance of the request, the speaker put a motion to that effect and was supported by lawmakers present during the plenary.

He therefore directed the clerk of the house to communicate the resolution to the executive for further action.
