Spectacular photos —Houston Mayor at the Wazobia African Market Customer Appreciation Funfair

These remarkable photos were recorded when the Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, with an entourage, joined other participants to celebrate the Wazobia African Market Customer Appreciation Funfair, Saturday July 31, 2021. The event was held at George Bush Park on 16756 Westheimer Parkway, Houston.

The exciting part of this Fun Fair is the Raffle Draw which offered Nkechi Igboekwu  the winning first prize of Hyundai Sonata; Enemuoh Osinachi won a 65” Flat-screen TV, and Gabriel a Tablet as second and third prizes respectively. Guests also won cash prizes as they played games and participated in other competitions such as dance, race, tug of war.

For over eight years now, the Wazobia Annual Customer Appreciation Funfair has served as a summer family entertainment and amusement bazaar and featured varieties of events to engage both adults and children. The owner of Wazobia, Mr. Tunde Fasina, Fasina said, “This is just a way to say a huge thank you to our esteemed customers and friends who make our business possible”
